Supplier evidence (REACH / RoHS / certificates)

REACH and RoHS Supplier Evidence: Find what is missing by SKU.

EU marketplace compliance often depends on supplier-provided evidence — REACH/SVHC declarations, RoHS statements, test reports, and material certificates. Scattered or incorrectly linked supplier documents are one of the most common evidence gaps we find at catalog scale.

Gap summary by email

A free evidence-readiness preview is sent to your email. It shows missing or unclear evidence categories and recommended next actions.

Listara provides an evidence-readiness review. It does not provide legal certification, laboratory testing, official marketplace approval, or legal advice.

REACH/SVHC and RoHS live in supplier declarations, not on your listing — so the free check covers listing-visible signals only. Mapping supplier documents to each SKU and finding the gaps is the paid pilot.

"Which ASINs need RoHS declarations?"
"Does my jewelry product need a REACH/SVHC declaration?"
"Is a generic SDS from the supplier sufficient, or does it need to be product-specific?"
"How do I know if my test report covers the right product variant?"
"Which supplier documents should I collect before an Amazon compliance request?"

These are the kinds of questions the free check helps you start answering.

What is REACH compliance for marketplace sellers?+

REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) requires suppliers and importers of articles to track and disclose Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) above certain thresholds. Sellers should obtain SVHC Article 33 declarations from suppliers for relevant product types including jewelry, toys, textiles, and electronics.

What is RoHS compliance?+

RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) restricts the use of specific hazardous materials in electrical and electronic equipment. A RoHS Declaration of Conformity is typically required for electronics and electrical products sold in the EU and should be product-specific, not a generic template.

Which products need REACH supplier declarations?+

Products containing or made of materials that may include SVHCs — including jewelry, toys, textiles, electronics, and chemical articles — may require REACH/SVHC Article 33 declarations from the supplier confirming SVHC content below 0.1% by weight per article.

What is the difference between a test report and a certificate of conformity?+

A test report is an output from an accredited lab showing test results for the product against applicable standards. A certificate of conformity (CoC) is a document from the manufacturer or supplier declaring conformity with specified requirements. Both may be required depending on the product category and applicable directives.

Does Listara replace a compliance consultant or lab?+

No. Listara helps you identify which supplier evidence appears missing, outdated, or not linked to the correct SKU. It does not perform lab testing, provide regulatory advice, issue certifications, or replace a compliance specialist. It is a diagnostic and operational readiness tool.

Marketplaces and EU product-safety workflows increasingly ask sellers to provide product-level evidence: certificates, test reports, manuals, labels, Responsible Person details, manufacturer and importer information. Listara does not certify compliance. It helps you find missing evidence and organize the next actions before a request becomes urgent.

Need supplier evidence mapped to every SKU?

The SKU Evidence Readiness Pilot maps uploaded supplier documents, REACH/RoHS declarations, test reports, and certificates to your ASIN/SKU export — flagging gaps and mismatches per product.
