Questions
What are Amazon compliance documents?+
Amazon compliance documents are the evidence Amazon may request to confirm a product meets EU and country-specific safety and regulatory requirements. They can include test reports, certificates, safety manuals, label images, CE/DoC evidence, Responsible Person details, SDS, and manufacturer information — depending on product type and marketplace.
Why does Amazon ask for product compliance documents?+
Amazon's marketplace compliance workflows require sellers to provide evidence that products meet applicable regulations, including GPSR, CE directives, and product-safety rules. Requests can be triggered by product category, marketplace, Account Health reviews, or compliance verification programs.
What happens if compliance documents are rejected?+
If submitted documents are rejected, the listing may remain inactive or suppressed until compliant evidence is provided. Listara helps identify which evidence appears missing, weak, or mismatched before you submit — so you can fix the right gaps first.
Does Amazon require a Declaration of Conformity?+
For products subject to CE marking requirements, Amazon EU may require a Declaration of Conformity as part of compliance document requests. The DoC must match the specific product model and ASIN being sold. Listara checks whether DoC evidence appears linked to the correct listing.
Can Listara submit documents to Amazon on my behalf?+
No. Listara does not submit documents to Amazon or any marketplace. It helps you identify which evidence appears missing, unclear, or mismatched before your team submits. It is not affiliated with Amazon and does not provide official compliance approval.

Why evidence readiness matters
Marketplaces and EU product-safety workflows increasingly ask sellers to provide product-level evidence: certificates, test reports, manuals, labels, Responsible Person details, manufacturer and importer information. Listara does not certify compliance. It helps you find missing evidence and organize the next actions before a request becomes urgent.
Need full SKU coverage?
The SKU Evidence Readiness Pilot maps your ASIN/SKU export and uploaded documents — DoCs, SDS, test reports, manuals, packaging photos — to a structured evidence record per SKU, with a prioritized remediation queue.
Not legal advice. Not certification. Not Amazon-approved. Evidence readiness review only. Listara is not affiliated with Amazon.
